In order to process a transaction, you would simply follow these easy steps: 1. Log on to your secure MerchantWARE site from any web browser.2. You will get a screen similar to this where you will enter your log-in info. 
3. Once you have successfully logged in, you simply select whether this is a new charge or a refund as shown below.
4. After you select new transaction you will be prompted to enter the transaction details.
The four types of transaction you can run from this screen are: Sale - New credit card sale.PreAuth - Verify that the card has funds available, but not actually charge it. This puts a temporary hold on the funds. Return - Refund a previous sale. ForceAuth - Process a voice authorization or finalize a preauth and capture the amount. Once you click process and you get back an approved response, you're done. Our MerchantWARE Gateway will automatically close your batch at the end of each day so all you have to worry about is running the transactions, and nothing else. |
