Industry Associations: A Great Medium for Fostering Partnerships

Industry associations are an important element of any channel marketer’s strategy. They are a great way to cultivate industry relationships, educate yourself and your staff and discover unique ways to get involved within a particular committee or vertical. As a multi-channel organization, we understand the value of not only our direct engagement with industry associations, but also encouraging the attendance and involvement of our customer and partner bases as well.   

One of our most valued industry relationships is with the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RPSA). The RSPA is the only association dedicated to the retail technology and point-of-sale (POS) industry. They are an integral part of our Partner Channel development.

This summer, Merchant Warehouse will exhibit at and serve on an educational panel at the RSPA’s signature event, RetailNOW. RetailNOW is the premier convention and expo for all professionals in the retail technology industry. Solutions providers will converge on Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay & Casino August 4th through the 7th to educate themselves on the latest trends, emerging technologies and business best practices. This event has always been central to our partner channel, but as the industry assimilates to new technology and sales models, it has become even more important for the entire Merchant Warehouse organization.

New technology has paved the way for a lot of new solution providers and Merchant Warehouse would like to help these businesses.  As such, this summer Merchant Warehouse is excited to be promoting a RSPA Membership Drive to help spread the value of the RSPA to our partner community and promote RetailNOW’s networking and education opportunities.

If you qualify for the Merchant Warehouse RSPA Membership Program, Merchant Warehouse will cover the cost (savings of up to $4,500) of a one-year RSPA Membership for your company and one registration for you to attend RetailNOW 2013. We believe this is an awesome opportunity for solution providers that are new to the RSPA or the industry, in general, to get involved.
