Peter Brau Named Finalist for CFO of the Year

One of five finalists for Boston Business Journal’s fourth annual CFO of the Year awards for large private companies.

Peter BrauBoston, MA – June 11, 2012 – Merchant Warehouse is proud to announce that Peter Brau, the company’s vice president, finance and administration, has been named a finalist for Boston Business Journal’s fourth annual CFO of the Year awards.

One of 16 total finalists selected from hundreds of nominations, Brau is one of five chosen in the large private category, representing privately held organizations with over $50 million in annual revenues. Winners will be announced at a luncheon on Wednesday, July 25, at the Sheraton Boston.

“Since joining the Merchant Warehouse team five years ago, Peter’s contributions have been countless,” said Henry Helgeson, Co-CEO, Merchant Warehouse. “He began in the organization as a team of one, and worked to methodically build accounting and human resources teams that would scale with the growth of the company. Since that time, the company has grown from 80 employees to more than 280 and is on a continued growth path for 2012 and beyond.”
